The Car Line

OK, so I was going to wait until tomorrow, but I had to vent about this car line thing! My children were always pretty fortunate to have bus service, or I was picking them up late from after school care, so until a couple of months ago, I had never experienced this phenomena called the car line.
To the school’s credit, they do run a tight ship, but it doesn’t matter if I am 10 minutes early or 30 minutes late, I am stuck sitting for a good 20 minutes. This has become my favorite time to text with my girlfriend, who is also typically stuck at about the same time, or I listen to All Things Considered on NPR, or read up on my mobile news.

Anyone have any good ideas or suggestions for me to share with the school. I really hate the car line!
